DR PETRINA WONG Consultant Respiratory Medicine Service, Department of Paediatrics KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital Singapore
Dr Petrina Wong graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2003 with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degrees, and was awarded Membership to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the United Kingdom in 2007. She attained accreditation with the Specialist Accreditation Board as a Specialist in Paediatric Medicine in 2012 after completing the Advanced Specialist Training programme in Paediatrics.
Dr Petrina Wong completed her postgraduate training and gained a wide range of experience at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in the Departments of Paediatric Medicine, Paediatric Subspecialties, Paediatric Intensive Care, Children’s Emergency and Neonatology.
Dr Petrina Wong is currently a Consultant in the Respiratory Service, Department of Paediatrics, KKH. Her main clinical interests are in childhood respiratory illnesses and paediatric sleep medicine, and she did her subspecialty training in 2013 in Paediatric Sleep Medicine in The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia, USA. She is a dual diploma holder of the European Respiratory Society and Asian Paediatric Pulmonary Society Specialist in Paediatric Respiratory.
She has been an active faculty member in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Duke-NUS and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. She is also senior Faculty for the Paediatric Residency Programme.
