John M. DelGaudio, MD completed his Otolaryngology residency at the University of Michigan, then joined the Department of Otolaryngology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where he currently holds the rank of Professor of Otolaryngology. He is Chief of Rhinology, Sinus, and Skull Base Surgery (2004- present), and his practice focuses on Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery. He has served as Residency Program Director from 2007-2015, and is Vice Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology since 2010. He was named the first Gerald S. Gussack Endowed Professor of Otolaryngology in 2014.
Dr. DelGaudio has been awarded the Golden Head Mirror Award for teaching and service from the American Rhinologic Society in 2006, the Gerald S. Gussack Award in 2007 and the Lester Brown Award in 2016 from the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology, He is a fellow of the Triologic Society (2005) and the American Rhinologic Society. He has served as President of the Metro Atlanta Otolaryngology Society, Georgia Society of Otolaryngology, and the American Rhinologic Society.
Dr. DelGaudio has published over 120 peer–reviewed articles, 25 book chapters, and edited the textbook Office Based Rhinology (2013). He serves on the editorial board for The International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology, and is a reviewer for many Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, and Neurology/Neurosurgery journals. He is a frequent speaker nationally and internationally.
